Applied Behavior Analysis

Focuses on understanding and improving specific behaviors by using techniques based on learning principles. It involves assessing behavior, identifying triggers, and teaching new skills or reinforcing desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. ABA is commonly used to help children with autism develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. The goal is to increase functional independence and improve overall quality of life.

Speech Language Pathology

Focuses on diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. SLPs work with clients to improve skills such as articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, expression, social communication, and feeding/swallowing. The goal is to help children communicate more effectively and participate fully in daily activities, enhancing their overall quality of life. Treatment often involves personalized exercises, strategies, and support to address each child's specific needs.

Occupational Therapy

Focuses on helping children develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily activities, or "occupations." This includes tasks like dressing, eating, working, or playing. OT addresses physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges by using purposeful activities to improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, strength, and overall functional independence. Therapists work with children with autism to enhance their ability to perform tasks at home, school, or work, and improve their quality of life.
